Our hearts sing each time we descend from the Rockies into the high desert of the Western Slope of Colorado. Framed by the majestic Book Cliffs to the North, the scenic Grand Mesa to the East and the awe inspiring canyons of the Colorado National Monument to the West.
The Grand Valley provides the perfect environment to cultivate the sweetest and most sumptuous peaches you will ever have the pleasure of sinking your teeth into! Our dry climate, hot days and cool nights, with water fed by the mighty Colorado, create just the right ingredients to produce a mouth watering peach!

Soil & Climate
Western Colorado’s climate has the biggest influence on peach growth on the Western Slope. Palisade sees more than 300 days of sunshine a year, with an average precipitation of just over nine inches each year. Paired with low humidity, warmer daytime and cooler nighttime temps; and rich volcanic soils from the Grand Mesa, Western Colorado provides the perfect environment for growing the best peaches on earth!

Palisade Peaches
We are proud to offer you the best Palisade peaches and peach products through our family farm. Follow the river up to East Orchard Mesa from the town of Palisade and you will find the Olsen Orchards farm on a quiet section of a back country road.
Follow us during the process as we began converting our farm from conventional to organic as we look forward to becoming fully certified organic by the 2025!
